My first Clubline is 20 years old, and still wonderful. Bought a second for our vacation home. It's the best!
Negative Product Points
The lid on the carafe is hinged. I would prefer a "pop-off." The spout is a little small and sometimes dribbles.
Detailed Commentary
The quality is worth the price. They stand behind their product. We finally had to replace the carafe top with tube because it finally wore through from the acid in the coffee. After 20 years' use, $175 seems pretty cheap. We tried three or four different coffeemakers at our vacation home, and truly missed the speed and taste quality, so finally broke down and bought a second one. I am also impressed that this unit has not changed in 20 years, and parts are always readily available (we replaced the carafe heating element).
Buying Experience
Buying experience for both was from Boyd's coffee -- the first one from a vendor, and the second online. Both buying experiences were excellent.
