Detailed Commentary
My first attempt to use this product finished with water all over the counter. I found out that the carafe lid should be between Close and Pour position (between the arrows at the lid) during the brewing. I think that is the meaning of the following sentence from the first page of Instructions: “Arrow on the lid must line up and Carafe must be fully inserted to prevent risk of overflow”. However, the carafe will not leak in that position, even it’s not firmly closed.
I paid CAD $39 (US$30) for this machine and received ½ lb of coffee for free. After two weeks, its’ already paid off. It produces decent coffee, similar to Starbucks. It makes only 4 cups, but two of us really don’t need more in the morning. At the same time, the carafe is small so 4 cups is enough to keep the right temperature. It does not have the timer, but I prefer to use fresh grounded coffee.
Buying Experience
It was not easy to find it during the last day of sale. Customer service representative was friendly and knowledgeable.
