Positive Product Points

Easy and convenient with great tasting coffee both first and last cup.  No bitter taste from sitting on a burner and carafe keeps it hot.

Negative Product Points

It's not cheap.

Detailed Commentary

This is a very well thought out coffee maker.  The water tank is removable so there is no lifting your water jug or even filling up the carafe with cold water to fill.  Just take off the reservoir and fill it direct.  The basket also comes off for easy filling.  The carafe keeps the coffee hot for several hours and keeps the flavor in.  No sitting on the burner cooking away.  Each cup tastes the same.  The water level markers seem accurate and the timer is super easy and quick to use.  I have it set for 7:30 am and to set it up each night requires a single button push.  The taste from this is the best I've had from a drip.  It is expensive for a coffee maker but I think well worth it.  If you break the glass carafe on a cheaper maker, once you are able to find a replacement, you've probably spent as much.

Buying Experience

This was a Christmas gift from my wife. (requested by me)

Three Month Followup

I'm still very happy with this coffemaker.  The only negatives I have found are that it drips a lot.  A drop comes down from the spout down the front every time you use it.  It also does not keep the coffee hot indefinitely.  2-3 hours max.  Still highly recommended
