Detailed Commentary
This is the 4th machine like this we have had - having to return every one for a replacement after only a few months. We followed directions and seasoned, we keep it clean and nonetheless, it stops in mid-brew and shuts off. We restart, and it shuts off several more times before the water is emptied. We are returning this one, getting our money back and buying a different brand. I am not kidding that this is our fourth machine. I can't believe these are sooooo poorly made. At least the warranty services people are very nice. I still love Starbucks coffee, just not their machines.
Buying Experience
The last return was humiliating. I wrote to Starbucks and told them about the experience. They sent an apology and a gift card. Granted, I don't frequent that store anymore, fortunately there are multiple starbucks in town! :)
