Bottom Line: Machine looks nice but can't make a really hot cup of coffee
Positive Product Points

Product was easy to use, having a water tank that could be removed
was a very nice feature . Made a tasty (but lukewarm) pot of coffee.

Negative Product Points

Never could get the machine to make a really hot cup of coffee
I did worry how the water tank gasket would hold up with extended use

Detailed Commentary

We were in the market for a new coffee maker and saw the Barista Aroma
at our local Starbucks. I figured that if Starbucks was selling the
product that it had to really good. Setup and operation was quite easy
and we liked the idea that the machine shut off after the brewing cycle was finished. The stainless steel carafe looked to be well constructed and should keep the coffee warm for some time.

We were never able to get a really hot cup of coffee out of this coffee maker, so back to the store it went. The sales staff at Starbucks were very good about our returning the machine and said that our complaint was not uncommon. He did say we could pre-heat the carafe( not very useful when it is set to make coffee in the early AM)

Buying Experience

Bought it at Starbucks, returned it there--no problems
