Shuts down before brew cycle is complete.
During the brew cycle coffee leaks down the outside of the carafe from under the handle.
Bad Plastic smell, have to leave lid open when not in use.
Detailed Commentary
Gone through many different coffee makers, before ordering the Presto.
When I recd the first one, I was so impressed I order a second one. Good thing as the first one quit in 7 months. I order a second for the cabin because of the great coffee taste. The second heating element is what caught my attention as I find it very hard to find a maker that produces HOT coffee. Have tryed a nbr of coffee makers from Starbuck, but found the coffee was not hot enough. I hv now ordered a OCS8 B, mainly because of the 1400 watt element.
