Positive Product Points

The third heating element really  brings the flavor out of the grounds.
Variable heating plate does'nt burn the coffe.
Carafe does'nt drip no matter how fast I pour.
Price.

Negative Product Points

Would like measurments for mugs on the carafe [currently only marked for cups].

Detailed Commentary

I read all about the Presto on this site and compared it to the rest. This drip coffee maker offers  quality and value for the money.
The looks [Scandinavian Design] are  very different than what other manufacturers offer.
The third heating element ensures that water is of the proper brewing temperature  when it hits the coffee grounds to extract the most flavor. The water dispertion appears to be very even.
I use a Swissgold #4 cone shaped filter in the Presto and I am very pleased with the taste of the coffee it brews.
At about $50.00 delivered from Costco, the Presto can't be beat in it's class for value and good "Joe".

Buying Experience

Costco does not rebox and ships the Presto in it's factory box. There's enough styrofoam around the coffee maker not to be concerned.
Smooth transaction.

Three Month Followup

I'm still very happy with the Presto. I find it will make excellent coffee no matter how many cups you make as long as you get the grounds to water ratio right. No problems, just great coffee!!!
