Positive Product Points
Very attractive machine with a lot of electronic features.
Negative Product Points
Very difficult to operate and pour coffee. Annoying beep can not be de-activated. Coffee taste is only adequate.
Detailed Commentary
Very difficult to fill with water and load/unload filter basket (must be done from the top and the machine is already quite tall). The carafe has a plastic lid with a large lip which makes emptying the last bit of coffee/water very difficult.
The coffee-ready 5 beep signal can not be deactivated and is loud enough to be heard from quite a distance (do not get this machine if you plan to brew coffee while others are still sleeping).
Coffee taste is only adequate despite significant experimentation with brew strength settings and coffee amounts.
Buying Experience
I purchased this machine because it appeared to be a great value. Once again I learned that you get what you pay for. I will not buy another Mr. Coffee product again. Product returned 1 week from purchase.
