Bottom Line: A horrid design that leaves coffee all over our counter.
Positive Product Points

For an inexpensive machine, it looks pretty good. I like the feel of the handle on this carafe. Pretty straightforward features. Doesn't have things I don't need, like clock, timer, etc.

Negative Product Points

The design of this is awful. Coffee constantly runs all over our counter.

Detailed Commentary

It's hard for me to imagine that they even tested this product before shipping it. Coffee constantly runs all over our counter. It doesn't appear to be a defect, but just crappy design. The hot water will push the side of the paper filter over occasionaly. Grinds run into the plastic basket, and then clog the valve that is meant to allow you to remove the carafe while still brewing. Coffee then runs down the back of the machine and onto the counter. Grinds also run into the carafe. It also defeats the stop pour mechanism. Remove the pot, and coffee just keeps dripping out.

Buying Experience

No "experience". It was Costco. :)
