Coffee did not stay too hot for long in the carafe, but no worries if you drank it all right away.
Detailed Commentary
This machine is no longer being manufactured by Krups, and they do not have another machine like it at all. This pot made a great cup of coffee, we even got a little crema on the top every time it brewed. I need to find a another coffee maker similar in style/method/process. Unfortunately the carafe broke, and after much discussion with the customer service rep at Krups, I was informed that this machine is now defunct (by the way, whenever I called Krups, the reps never seemed to know what was going on, although they were very friendly, just very confused.)
If anyone can recommend a coffee maker similar to this one, please let me know.
