Coffee tastes great but hate the carafe. In fact we would not buy another carafe. While not perfect we'll stick with glass.

Coffee tastes good, Fairly hot if you drink it quickly.
Negative Product Points
-- Carafe is terrible. Coffee gets everywhere while pouring. When your down to the last 8 oz. or so you have to take the lid off to get all the coffee out. Still gets all over the place. -- Can't tell how much coffee is left ( we don't like carafes.) -- Programming is not easy unless the manual is nearby.
Detailed Commentary
I'm a KRUPS fan. I grind Starbucks Sumatra daily and it's the only machine that I've found to give me flavor similar to what I get at a Starbucks. BUT...My girlfriend and I hate the carafe. Spills coffee everywhere and dosen't keep coffee hot for long. That said, this is our first carafe we would not want any carafe again. Here's why: 1) We don't like not being able to see how much is left. 2) We can't keep it by the sink and it is a hassle getting the amount of water you want in it (we don't want to have to use a plastic container to measure the water and the view finder is ridiculously hard to see.) 3) Carafe spills all over like this one does. 4) Coffee dosen't stay hot for long.
