I wouldn't pay the retail price on it (around $100), but for $50 or less, a great coffee brewer.

Brews hot. Selectable brew. Flavorseal lid. Preheats carafe. Does the job.

Filter swingout a bit flimsy. Hotpad too hot, burns coffee in only a half hour or so.

Bought this from egghead when they were still egghead. Surplus auction price around $35.
I bought this model because I was told it brews hot enough. It does. Much hotter than my old Black and Decker brewer.
I like how I can select my brew strength. I also like the carafe preheat feature, I don't know if other auto drips have this. Makes a really good cup of coffee, but now a better cup since I started using the new Melitta filters with the flavorpores.
I broke the swingarm on the filter basket thing, but crazyglued it back into place. It doesn't affect coffee operation.
The lid is a flavorseal thing - once you pour a cup, liquid forms a seal making the carafe almost airtight. Neat design.
