Bottom Line: Great styling.  Good taste (IMO, but Im no expert).  Full featured.  Easy to use/clean.
Positive Product Points

Very nice styling & easy to use.  Tastes good to me.  "Plus" = water filter (chlorine, minerals).  Clock timer.  Water level indicator on outside.  Can sneak an early pour while brewing.  Seems easy to keep clean.

Negative Product Points

Full featured, but no switch or setting for single-mug quantity.

Detailed Commentary

Great styling (bowling ball-shaped carafe grew on me).  Like the taste better than the cheap mini-Mr.Coffee it replaced, better than my novice attempts with a french press, and better than the Mr. Coffee at the office.  Price:  On sale at Macys (i.e., okay, but not great).  Favorite trick:  To slow water flow when only making 1 mug, I put the metal coffee-holding filter part from my espresso maker on top of the coffee inside the cone filter.
