Positive Product Points

Wanted a good looking version of a Keurig and purchased this early into the rave on K-Cup coffee.  This has been a great machine; This version also includes the add-on dispenser for you to make your own; also includes the water filter and it even came with filter pacs!  [I purchased my K-machine after my sister raved about hers.]  Since purchasing this machine I have purchased the cheaper Keurig versions for my mother, our cottage, my office and our FL home...

Negative Product Points

nothing negative; I know, I have had it over 2 years...maybe they could design a custom size so you can fit your personal cup; maybe they could have a reminder of your filter built into the programme...but these are really stretching it to find something wrong....oh, the clock goes out with power surges and flashes like the microwave and stove clocks...

Detailed Commentary

The Keurig versions are cheap, clog up and of course do not have all the size options or the nice blue LED shining through the water reservoir...So A+ for the product by Breville, but still only a C for the K-Cup coffee itself...it is a rip-off @ $0.50 per unit...Cost saving tip...buy BOLD brands [I read the main difference is they insert 1/3 more bean in the cup!!] and you can use them a 2nd time using the smallest setting blended with the2nd largest on the Breville....I can arrord single use...but I choose to make this saving...the satisfaction makes it seem to taste better...

Buying Experience

Purchased a refurb through the distributor online & was totally happy with them...out of Montreal.
