Basket has overflowed a few times, but fixed the problem by taking out the pause & serve spring in the basket. Had a problem with the same version shorting out.
Detailed Commentary
I needed something inexpensive and this was it. I've had the The Black & Decker, and you can brew 6 full pots with Melitta before the Black & Decker decides to show up. Not much luck with Mr Coffee either. I've had mine for a year now and stilling working like a charm. The 180 degrees water temp that mine puts out is just perfect to start the day with, and throughout. Irregardless of some reviews, the temp is hot but not scalding. I've brewed some of the best coffees in it and found it worked just as well as some of the higher end models. If you use crap coffee then you probably won't like it. In other words what you put into it matters.
