Not enough steam in the boiler to froth a full cup all at once. Milk reservoir is difficult to clean all surfaces Milk reservoir retaining clips break easily. Controls are counter-intuitive. No light shows if it is making less than five cups.
Detailed Commentary
Bought just before year end in 2004 for an office machine. The product when assembled, did not work. I disassembled the machine and found the tube from the hot plate to the coffee filter compartment was never attached. When reassembled, it worked fine for two months and then a retaining clip in the milk reservoir broke. The part was back ordered and only arrived after a couple months of holding the milk reservoir in place by hand using a pot holder. When healthy, the machine makes a good pot of coffee, but does not make enough steam in the boiler to properly froth enough milk for a slightly larger coffee cup. Yesterday, the same milk reservoir clip broke sending a geyser of milk over those gathered around.
