I cant say they are all lemons like the two I had - buyer beware!

Nice design and small foot print. Makes a good cup when it works.
Negative Product Points
Quality - original unit broke down shortly after buying, replacement unit broke down even faster. Design - numbers wear off easy, fills at rear - therefore must pull out from under counter and turn to fill (unless you can keep the unit out in the open); coffee not very hot; Warranty Process/Cost - must pay shipping to warranty centre PLUS a processing fee. After paying $50 + for shipping the first unit back I did not want to pay again for the second failed unit. Cuisinart will not pick up shipping, will not offer a refund or even a credit toward other Cuisinart products.
I had the original grind and brew for years - it worked so well when it finally gave up the ghost I bought this one. I was expecting even better results given the burr grinder (vs blade in the older model). The coffee was great but the unit died after only weeks. The warranty process was such a hassle I used the machine as brew only for a few months, then I sent it in for replacement. I got a new unit after 8 weeks --- 8 weeks!!! The replacement unit was sent without packing material so the basket broke. It took 2 weeks for a replacement basket to arrive. Finally got the new unit up and running a few weeks ago but this one suffered the same fate.
