This replaced a drip Braun which I used with freshly ground beans. the Cuisinart cost approx $100 including permanent filter and shipping.
In several taste tests with friends and relatives the Cuisinart delivers an outstanding cup of coffee. Hi flavor and low levels of bitterness.
