Positive Product Points
Elegant design - nicely thought out. Good fit and finish.
Negative Product Points
The grind function is inadaquate - and one would think that these guys would at least know how to build a grinder - whole beans are consistently left unground after the cycle is finished.
Detailed Commentary
This machine makes very weak, cold coffee. I think the weak coffee is partially a function of the poor grind function. If I had kept this machine my monthly coffee bean purchases would have doubled as I'd have to increase the number of spoonfulls of coffee I'd use!!
There are a silly number of parts to keep clean.. and to keep track of, though the finish and quality was good. It's also quite tall - too tall to fit under my cabinets.
The logic of the controls was good and were easy to learn.
Buying Experience
Macy's was a class act - and accepted my return gracefully. I bought another Krups, a band I've always had success with.
