Durable overall, dependable warm coffee, small volume selector, alerts when coffee complete and can be programmed.
Negative Product Points
Carafe drips when you pour and difficult to clean stainless steel band. Difficult to clean the inside and thus a crusty buildup for hard water households. Dark internal water reservoir and no external water level column. Too tall for me. Over rated in my opinion.
Detailed Commentary
I gave this away as the carafe repeatedly dripped on the counter just at the end of pour...drove me crazy. I am 5'3" and could not see inside the dark reservoir to judge the water level acurrately, so I got varying strengths of coffee if relied on the carafe volume marks. Crusty build up on the inside plastic parts never came clean despite use of small toothbrush and descaling products. The stainless steel band around the glass carafe collected debris and then started to rust, despite good cleaning attempts.
Buying Experience
CostCo probably would have taken this product back, even after 5 years, but I felt I got enough years of service, despite the flaws.
