If you want a weak cup of medium hot coffee and a coffee maker that's hard to fill and irritating to use then this is your pot.

Detailed Commentary
The box said this coffee maker brewed the hottest coffee on the market. HAH! The coffee is weak and medium hot. It is necessary to use more coffee to get a drinkable cup. While the machine is sleek and cool looking it is difficult to use. The carafe has no water level indication so if you want to put the correct amount of water in the carafe to fill to the desired level on the maker it becomes a guessing game. I have yet to put the same amount of water in for subsequent pots. The machine also has a lower cup capacity than most makers only brewing 10 6oz. cups instead of 12. The coffee maker does have a permanent filter which is nice on those rare times when you run out of paper. However, the permanent filter does allow a small amount of coffee slury to enter the pot...if you do not use paper filters expect some coffee sludge at the bottom of each cup. The basket also has issues locking into place. It constantly pops up and down. After 3 weeks the plastic piece which you use to push the basket into place broke off. Overall, I am rather unhappy with this purchase. For the amount of money spent I expect a better cup of really hot coffee.
