Bottom Line: Best combo Grinder-Maker I have ever owened. I was looking for grounds to buy a new coffee maker (or visa versa), I defininely made the right choice. Go get one!
Positive Product Points

This product makes excellent coffee and keep the grinding a brewing stations separated.

Negative Product Points

Took a little time to figure out the programming part. But once learned, its very easy.

Detailed Commentary

Brews an excellent pot of coffee. This is the best coffee maker I have ever owned. You do need to carefully place the basket and cover in the swing door. If it is not aligned properly it will 'catch' as described in another commentary. You just have to watch how it fits together.  I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone. It is pricey, but if it last a couple years or so, I will feel like I really got my moneys worth. This is such an improvement from the combo grinders-makers that one has to clean after every use! I love it!

Buying Experience

Quick and easy!

Three Month Followup

Use this maker everyday. I have heard stories, even from salesman at  William-Sonma that folks have returned these pots for various problems. I have had none. This continues to be the best coffee maker I have ever owned. I really like the feature that tells you when to desalinate the maker. Hope this lasts for many years. Even if it last only a couple, I will buy another one.

One Year Followup

Continues to be a great coffee maker! I would purchase again!
