Easy to use. Easy to clean. Cheaper than every other coffee maker I've looked at. Takes less time than Mr. Coffee to brew a batch. CRAZY smooth and delicious coffee pours from the spout of this thing. Almost like magic.
Negative Product Points
None really so far. It is more manual, since you have to boil the water and pour it by hand, but I actually prefer that. The only thing that I can think of is that I am drinking coffee more than usual, since it's SO GOOD!
Detailed Commentary
This has been in my kitchen for about two weeks now. I'll never go back. The "cleanness" and clarity of the flavor and the richness of the coffee this produces is impressive to say the least. The same coffee, ground in the same batch, tastes very different from this versus the standard auto-drip. Amazingly smooth.
There is more involvement with this, but not really. I put the water on the stove first, so it heats up while I grind the beans. By the time the grinder's done, so is the water and it's ready to pour. This might actually be a little faster since I use the stove, which heats water faster than the internal heater of my Mr. Coffee. I'm fairly meticulous and methodical, so I like to be able to be involved with every step. It's almost therapeutic to make coffee with this. And the fact that it's labware glass is awesome. So geeky and yet so cool.
I highly recommend this coffee maker.
Buying Experience
I got this from a local seller and was very happy with the speed of delivery and the packaging. It was easy to order from their website. I'm not sure, but I think I went to highschool with the owners son, so that's a plus too... ;-)
