Great cofffe, hot looks and hot coffee...what more could you want?
Positive Product Points
I have had very good luck with this machine...I bought it has a compromise with my wife, thinking it was not the "best". However I am very pleased. It makes very hot and very good coffee, plus the machine is just so sexy looking.
Negative Product Points
Only slight negative is I would like a bit better saturation of the coffee grinds...however it seems that if I grind a bit finer, I have no problems.
Detailed Commentary
Ok, so maybe I am not the worlds greatest nut about coffee. But I can for sure tell a good cup that retains all the flavors of the coffee, vs a bad cup. And this machine makes great coffee period. I've found that pre-heating the thermos is the best way to go, I can still get piping hot coffee 2 hours later without the burnt taste.
I've also tried the 3-5 cup brew setting, and once again great coffee. Could you find a better coffee maker, maybe...however if you want great looks, great features and good hot coffee...not sure you can go wrong with this machine.

Bought it from guy off EBay, so for me it was great...but unless you know ebay, be careful for sure.
Three Month Followup
I am really happier than ever...with simple pre-heating of the pot with hot water, the coffee will stay very hot for almost 2 1/2 hours...after 2 1/2 still drinkable, but not as hot as I like it. I also have figured out the best brew for me...12 scoops and 8 "cups" water. Another trick is that when I first start the brew cycle, I hold open the top lid for about 20 seconds or so, this causes the first few "perks" of water that are still cold to enter back into the unit. Once the water is hot (20 seconds) or so, I close the lid and the brew cycle continues. Also found the 3-5 cup setting does a great job for the times I am by myself of only want a bit of coffe. No regrets at all!
