No matter where you "point" the top of the carafe to pour your coffee have no doubt it will not be in your cup but on your counter. The carafe did not keep the coffee as hot as it claimed.
Detailed Commentary
I purchased this because we own a Capresso cappuccino machine as well as the Cool Grind grinder which are of superior quality and perfomance. I did research and the MT500 continued to rise to the be the winner so I went out and purchased it.
I did not expect miracles but did expect a superior cup of coffee. I did not find that and neither did my husband. I used freshly purchased beans, ground them as I always do, used my cold water and did not end up with anything other than a cup of coffee I did not even finish and poured down the drain.
I am returning this machine and am surely disappointed in it's performance.
