Detailed Commentary

I find this unit far superior to a Technivorm drip coffee maker which I recently returned.  It is extremely convenient for daily use.  The timer is the most user-friendly of any coffee maker I've owned.  The coffee flavor is excellent whether I use premium coffee or commercial blends such as Chock Full 'O Nuts.  The design is a very attractive fusion of form and function which would enhance the aesthetics of most kitchens.  Despite the rather high price, I would recommend this unit to anyone who appreciates constitently flavorful coffee and values convenience.

Buying Experience

The salesperson at Williams Sonoma was initially attentive but seemed unwilling to answer detailed questions about the various coffee makers on display.  I felt rushed through the transaction.  In the end, the salesperson recommended the right item for my needs but only because it happened to be more expensive than the other I was considering.
