Detailed Commentary
Design seems excellent, but manufacturing quality leaves much to be desired. Used Braun and Krups machines until Capresso released the direct-to-therm machine. Therm leaked in 1st month of use. Company would not replace, though did sell replacement at half price. 8-months into usage, internal auto-stop lever broke off, disabling the function allowing removal of the therm during the brewing cycle. Rather than have this fixed, we are returning to Krups, now that they too have a therm brewing machine. We have found their products to be much more reliable and durable.
(We also bought the Carpesso burr grinder at the same time, and a piece of the plastic catch basin for the ground coffee also broke off.)
