Positive Product Points

THE AUTOMATIC coffee maker. Grinds and brews at your covenient time. Makes great coffee (my wife agrees), easy to operate. SAVES your time. Excellent bright intuitive display.

Negative Product Points

After using a simple coffeemaker with paper filter, I have to clean now a few extra things: golden filter, filter holder, a lid for the filter holder, caraffe. Buttons don't illuminate. Cannot program the heating plate.

Detailed Commentary

Bought it recently, used it for two days already. Was very reluctant to spend $200 on an automatic drip coffemaker. So far I'm not sorry about this purchase  (my wife either).
Before I unpacked Capresso I watched a video tape which came with it. It had enough info to make my first coffee without reading a manual.
First cup of coffee was extremely weak - coffee ground passage was completely empty, and I got 3-4 spoons less in my coffee filter. My second cup of coffee was excellent. Not bitter and it gave me a feeling of euphoria which I usually get from Starbucks coffee.
I realized that some coffee will stay overnight in that coffee ground passage tube overnight. It certainly became stale by the next day, but I guess the quantity of that stale coffee wasn't enough for me to taste, because next mornig coffee was still fabulous!
Now my coffee comes with a layer of coffee oil on a top of every cup!

Buying Experience

I bought it from http://www.aabreecoffee.com/ - excellent customer service! It was packed extremely well, very securely.
