Detailed Commentary

After a couple of weeks, I had to re-write this review and give this machine much higher marks.

I'd been a loyal Bunn coffeemaker fan for years, but this model had me turning to other brands.   Although the design is sturdy and durable, the practicality of it was sorely lacking.  I had not used a coffee decanter that dripped worse than this one.  I poured my coffee into a small mug over the sink, and I always had a large puddle afterwards.  After a call to customer service describing my problem however, they were very quick to send me a redesigned thermal carafe.  Bunn service simply cannot be beaten!

The regular sprayhead of this coffeemaker is sensitive, and will cause the grinds to overflow the basket if the right consistency of coffee is not used.  A little experimentation however, can correct this problem.

I was ready to abandon Bunn for another brand, but their customer service and their durable design has kept me as a customer.  I've tried the top-rated machine on a popular consumer website, but the Bunn simply rules.  No other machine has the combination of durability, performance and service that this brand offers.

Buying Experience

For a drugstore, Fruth has great appliances!
