Negative Product Points
A) it’s ugly. B) to keep the water in the reservoir ready, the machine must be left on ( I am told by bun that this draws an average of 40 watts.). If the machine is turned of, it takes about 8 minutes for the water to be raised to brewing temp.
Detailed Commentary
I use this machine along with paradise blend ( from paradise roasters) along with my ditting grinder to produce what is I consider an awesome cup of coffee.
The machine holds a put of coffee at brewing temperature in the reservoir. The brewing process is started by pouring a put of water into the top, placing the carafe in place, and closing the hatch. The water just poured in, displaces the hot water being held in the reservoir. This machine works the same way as a commercial brewer in that it sprays hot water down on the grounds in a short brewing time. A 10cup put takes just over three minutes. This way your coffee is brewed without being stewed!. With my setup, I am able to make a very strong cup of well extracted coffee without bitterness.
The other reviews stating that the water doesn’t get hot enough are clearly using defective units and should contact the manufacture to get their units repaired. I measure the water at a steady 201f coming out of the sprayer.
