I have a Braun 510 and just purchased the new stainless steel Braun. A "cup" of coffee should be 6oz. Braun's 510 was just shy of 5oz and the new stainless steel model is about 4.2oz per cup. Cuisinart is also doing this. Truth in advertising!! Buyer beware!

I have a Braun 510 and just purchased the new stainless steel Braun Impressions. A "cup" of coffee should be 6oz. Braun's 510 was just shy of 5oz and the new stainless steel model is about 4.2oz per cup. Cuisinart is also doing this. Truth in advertising!! Buyer beware!
I'm about to buy another coffeemaker and my FIRST inquiry will be to find out how many ounces per cup.
CoffeeGeek should conduct a check of all models to determine ounces per cup. I will bet that the swing is a good 25%!
