Bottom Line: All in all it is a good machine at a good price.
Positive Product Points

Great little machine.  Easy to use and produces good steam for frothing!   It has held up well for 5 years.

Negative Product Points

Had a problem with the portofilter.   After 4 years the spring inside the portafilter came free.  The spring is what make the handle spring left after putting back on the machine.

One minor headache is the dispersion screen on my machine doesn't give an even spray.   I have cleaned it repeatedly but it still seem to spray harder in the center can can cause some tunnelling if you don't have a properly tamped cake.

Detailed Commentary

It has been a great little machine!  Friend and family have enjoyed many a good latte and cappuccino with this machine.   Once you learn the proper mechanics of making great espresso, this machine can deliver.  Highly recommend an espresso grinder and not something bought at the local superstore.   Once I had a professional grinder I took apart the portofilter and removed the restrictor and inner parts (so the broken spring doesn't really bother me).

I'm a big cappuccino drinker and my 10 year old son has become quite addicted as well.  This machine does a good job steaming milk and you can make micro-foam with practice.  Plenty of good tutorials around that can show you how to do it!

If this machine ever falls apart, I'd probably look around and see what else is available.   I'm a pretty heavy user and it would be nice to find a machine that can steam somewhat faster then this machine.

Buying Experience

Went to Starbucks at the spur of the moment and bought one.  The staff explained everything about the machine and demo'd the operation of the machine.
