Detailed Commentary
I've been generally pleased with this except for two problems. The first had to do with the replacement of the steam manifold (after only about 4 months). Apparently, they used a faulty manifold which had a seam that failed (the newer ones are seamless). The second has to do with the unit shutting down after being on for a bit. Both necessitates an expensive and time consuming process of sending it back to Cafe West for repair. On a positive note, they're very good and supportive.
Aside from that, this is a great machine. Durability was the only issue I had.
Buying Experience
The vendor was a distributor of Cafe West. Great shipping but service had to go directly to Cafe West.
Three Month Followup
Although it's a good machine, I had to return it twice at considerable expense (see my initial comments). Once to repair a faulty steam manifold (their problem) and the second for my keeping the unit on too long burning something out. Although the second is my fault, it would be nice to have known that you can't keep the unit on for long periods of time. I don't think it's produced any longer and i've since bought another brand's automatic WHICH automatically turns itself off (the time is programable too).
