This tremendously reliable machine requires no maintenance (unlike the demanding Capresso/Jura brands). It is very easy to use. And the coffee it makes tastes excellent. Some automatic machines taste a but burnt, but the Solis makes a delicious cup of coffee or espresso. Also, the milk frother produces a deliciously smooth and silken foam.
Negative Product Points
None, though like other machines, it takes about 30 seconds to cool off from steaming to make espresso.
Detailed Commentary
Excellent machine. I previously purchased (and returned) a Capresso because I thought I wanted a bypass doser for decaf. The truth is that the taste of coffee from ground decaf is not that good anyway. I returned the Capresso and I love my Solis. Have recommended it to many friends.
The Digital model is more adjustable than the analog, plus it is cooler.
