Positive Product Points

It is a pretty machine to look at. It would be very easy to use if it worked. It is fairly lightweight which is convenient when you have to ship it into repair. It's easy to clean.

Negative Product Points

Steam wand for the most part won't work. It takes about 30 seconds of dispensing hot water before steaming, then my water tank is empty. After steaming milk a few seconds I realized hot water was again being dispensed but into my milk. Shots are totally inconsistent. The water meter (so I've been told by many tech supports) is not functioning properly which happens with a lot of these machines.

Detailed Commentary

We have been trouble shooting on the phone with tech support literally since we bought this machine. Ours makes one shot of espresso then the red light comes on and it will no longer function. We turn it off, check everything, turn it back on, make a shot, then the red light comes on again. Every shot is completely different even though we don't change the settings. We finally gave up and sent it in for repair and are awaiting its return. We bought this "refurbished" off ebay from the espresso outlet. If you're looking for something to have a drink in the morning yada yada then it would be fine I'm sure if you bought it new. If you're having a dinner party, good luck. Multiple drinks is a scary thing with this. We bought it for 490 refurbished. I'm not sure what it is new, but I say do yourself a favor and shop around some more. Five hundred dollars can go much farther than a machine that can barely make two drinks.

Buying Experience

First espresso machine purchased.
