Positive Product Points

Machine called "Cafe Crema" in Europe. Complete control with ability to adjust grind, wieght of coffee dose, quantity of water required. Makes a single shot of 2.5 mls in 12 seconds with 1 press or double shot of 5 mls in 20 seconds with 2 presses. Super crema. Excellent built-in burr grinder. Easy cleaning.  Fitted onto turntable for all round "get-at-ability".

Negative Product Points

Bean hopper gets warm and is not airtight (work around is to only put in enough beans for immediate use).
Grinder adjustment can only be performed when actually grinding.

Detailed Commentary

Used a Saeco Profi pump machine(6 years) before Cafe Crema. Took 2-3 months to learn to drive current machine to my quite critical taste. Now produces more consistantly better quality coffee than Profi. Be patient - because you have control over all aspects of the process, machine will respond to all you could wish for in quality espresso. Suggest it will perform at its best if you already have a standard in your mind and on your taste buds as to what you wish to achieve.
Price EU price 314 (incl shipping)imported direct from Italy. US  $450
A "must have" accessory is the SAECO Automatic Milk Frother (extra $40 approx.) producing pourable 162 deg.F froth instantly direct into the cup.
