Takes a bit of time to warm up, except through the use of "cheats". Chintzy set-up for water retrieval (hose sticking into the reservoir). Requires some tuning (of the operator) to make it work.
Detailed Commentary
This unit was a replacement for a Krups Novo, although it is several steps up the evolutionary chain from the Krups. Paid about $400 for it, including shipping. No regrets - it‘s a superior machine.
