An entry level E61, heat exchanger equipped espresso machine with many customized features for the N. American market
Prav Moodley (quality: 6.0)
Bottom Line: Great investment if your serious about espresso. Must be paired with no less then a Rancilio Rocky Grinder. Not designed for fast multiple milk drinks
Bottom Line: The Alexia with a PID is a perfect machine for someone who mostly drinks esporess.
Bottom Line: Top of the line home espresso, OK for occasional milk drinks.
Jay Fritzke (quality: 6.0)
Bottom Line: Best single boiler machine for awesome shots everyday!
Martin Poulin (quality: 9.0)
Bottom Line: WIth PID, this is a trully great machine for espresso only, strongly recommend a bottomless portafilter
Marc Bronzetti (quality: 7.0)
Bottom Line: An outstanding high end single boiler machine for the straight espresso drinker.
Bottom Line: Play with the big boys and get an Alexia if you don't make many milk based drinks.
L Homac (quality: 6.0)
Bottom Line: *** NOTE: Error on left side of page - This is not a HX (Heat Exchanger) style machine. It is a Semi Automatic Dual Purpose Boiler. *** Excellent machine. Have pulled great shots and makes great milk based drinks too.
Bottom Line: Best in Class
Bottom Line: pair Alexia w/ PID with quality griner (Super Jolly or Vario above) & I cannot tell difference from cafe (e.g. Intelligensia Black Cat at home versus from thier Chicago locations)
Bottom Line: Alexia with a PID is the espresso lovers "best in class". Quality, fit and finish, this is the one
Bottom Line: If you want a high quality machine and incredible customer support, buy it!
Phil Greene (quality: 8.0)
Bottom Line: Nice machine, a bunch of smaller pluses (size, quiet, cost, build, support) and one big one : good espresso with relative ease.
Mark Botta (quality: 8.0)
Bottom Line: The straigjht shot espresso drinker would be hard pressed to do better than this machine.
Bill Miano (quality: 9.5)
Bottom Line: A great espresso only, single boiler machine, for the household that does not need to steam multiple milk drinks.
