Bottom Line: Great first time quality espresso machine. great for the non-neurotic; makes decent espresso everytime and good microfoam
Positive Product Points

for a small hx machine it preforms well and is easy enough for anyone to use and get decent shots from.  super finish. pro looks and weight

Negative Product Points

has a 57mm portafilter which is harder to find tools and bottomless PF's for.  variable steam would be a nice addition

Detailed Commentary

I have this machine for 6 months now and have no complaints.  i was using a breville grinder that was bought for me  a few years ago as a gift and it is fine for brewed coffee but not quite the for espresso so with an overdose and a firm tamp i was getting tiger striped pulls with most espresso.  my fave is Stumptown Hairbender.  I recently bought a used La Pavoni Zip grinder and the flavor profile and consistency is now up there with great espresso bars.  using 18 grams and a lighter tamp i get amzing shot and can steam and brew at the same time. I backflush it evesry month with pully cafe and quarterly de-lime it with pully baby.  sometimes i only make one double epresso a day; on weekends probably 6 double cappucinos for whoever is drinking.  I feel this was a great purchase in a small friendly HX machine, with great consistent shots.

Buying Experience

priced right shipped quickly no problems
