Detailed Commentary
I've had my oscar for 8+ years and I've used it almost every single day! Note, I usually turn it on and let it heat up for an hour or so before the first shot, I then turn it off as soon as I'm done, saves energy and thermostat wear. I can't complain, I've found several brands of espresso that work great with this machine, I have an infinite level grinder that helps get the grind just perfect, I find that the second pull is the best, and I can improve the pulls if I steam first and wait for the thermostat to kick off which gets the boiler to the perfect temp right before I pull.
Overall, great machine for the price, my next one will be a rotary pump, but I'll pay for it! :)
