The water tank smelled of cheap plastic in the begining , after a few month smell faded. Boiler is a bit small , so don't forget to flash some water through steam wand after steaming milk.
Detailed Commentary
As far as quality goes, this is a great machine and is very easy to use and maintain, but you still have to experiment with quantity, time, grind and temperature. Sturdy, attractive and fits my small kitchen. Two years of daily use and still going strong. The water tank smells of plastic and would recommend to replace it with glass or different plastic container if it bothers you a lot..The smell goes away however in about half a year. Pared with Le'Lit PL53 grinder this machine makes my mornings happy.
Buying Experience
It was important for me to get from local dialer. 1st line equipment is just 40 min from my house. They have great customer service, always helpful and knowledgeable.
Three Month Followup
It was two years that December and no problems whatsoever. Great consistent shots. Tried to switch to Elektra Steam Wand Tip - 3 hole, and had to return. Maybe was impatient with the way steam comes out very forceful. Switch back to original one.
