if you love the process of making espresso and really understand all the different variables that can affect how the shot is pulled beyond pressing a button this is a machine to have. Having this machine makes you develop a relationship and as you use it you begin to slowly learn new things about how espresso is affected. There is no point in purchasing this machine if you do not intend to buy a good grinder as you will not be able to pull anything that resembles an espresso shot from pre-ground beans. This is a machine for a serious coffee lovers as it can be a little fussy.
