Positive Product Points

Well-crafted, beautiful, easy to tear apart for cleaning purposes.  When a good shot is pulled... YOU WILL KNOW IT!

Negative Product Points

Requires a fond appreciation for coffee in general and espresso in particular.  Machine sensitive to grind quality and coffee freshness.

Detailed Commentary

The Europiccola model of lever-operated Pavonis is an entry-level machine with respect to manual machines.  It brings the user very close to the coffee with regards to undersrtanding the chemistry and physics of preparing good espresso.  As mentioned above, this machine is sensitive to grind as well as to the tamp.  It is a labour of love, owning a La Pavoni.  For those who want it to be, it is well worth it.
