Negative Product Points
Water never came out hot enough. We owned on just like it while living in Europe and that one was day and night in quality, water temp, and consitancy. Maybe they cannot engineer for the US market.
Detailed Commentary
We bought it because of the similar modle we had in Europe. The US version was very poor in quality and consistancy. We never could get the water to come out at over 150 F even though the manufacturer stated 180 was the working temp. Most of the time the water came out at around 100-120 F. Obviously this effected the taste and quality of the brew.
In the 2 years we owned it we had it back to the manufacturer 2 times. Once for water temp and once for leaks. The first was under warrentee the second cost us over $300. When it broke the 3rd time in less than 2.5 yrs we chose not to get it repaired.
The reapir center was also rude and expensive. No 3rd party repair center could be found for this machine. It turned out the be the biggest waste of money we ever had!
Buying Experience
Wholelattelove was ok. We basically new what we wanted and they shipped it as promissed. They were absolutely no help on the service side of things and washed their hands of our problems by sending us to the "Authorized" Jura repair center.
