Great entry level machine that delivers all the steam without excess water!
Positive Product Points
Heats up quickly, fair pump system and steams like there's no tomorrow. Not the prettiest machine on the market but a good value for an entry level machine. Performed better than my Krups XP4030.
Negative Product Points
Even using distilled/filtered water, the machine clogged up after about 4 months of daily use.
Detailed Commentary
It's a decent machine for the money if you are looking for a starter machine and don't want to drop a lot of cash. Get's hot quick but pressure for the espresso seemed to degrade too quickly. I used some DipIt (liquid decalcifier) and that seemed to bring it back to life for awhile. I got adventurous and took the machine apart. Not much to this one but I did notice some rust stains inside where there never should have been any water! I think if HB would spend a little more money on the design aspect and get the pumping system to where it worked reliably for a longer period they would have a real winner. They could also make the pressure screen removable by the consumer to make it easier to clean.
