This is a capsule espresso machine, using Illy's patented iperEspresso capsule system. The machine is well constructed, but also priced low because you are locked into a capsule coffee delivery system. Features a brass boiler and illy's froth aiding system.

Bottom Line: Giving the cost it is an excellent machine and is great as a gift. Just remmember the capsules aren't available nearby stores. Only though Illy website you can get more selections.
