The X1 is undeniably one of the more unique looking consumer espresso machines on the market today. Available in a wide range of colours, the machine has undergone some major improvements inside in recent years.

Thomas Scheidegger (quality: 5.0)
Bottom Line: looks great but will only satisfy espresso-drinkers
Steve Strawman (quality: 8.0)
Bottom Line: Probably more style than substance, but capable of making decent (not great) espresso; a high-maintenance trophy-wife.
Steve Caswell (quality: 7.0)
Bottom Line: Great machine if you're into convenience and like the idea of switching between pods and traditional in an instance.
Steve Baker (quality: 2.0)
Bottom Line: Steer well clear of this baby its a nightmare!
Scott Smith (quality: 8.8)
Bottom Line: Great machine for the espresso fan
Robert Perschmann (quality: 6.8)
Bottom Line: Can find no reason to rate less than a ten on all counts
Robert Bloom (quality: 4.3)
Bottom Line: £25 coffee in a £400 machine. Or, for U.S. readers, $50 coffee in an $800 machine.

Bottom Line: Get it it you‘re in love with the design.
Rex Bond (quality: 6.7)
Bottom Line: I LIKE IT!
Phil M (quality: 7.6)

Lawrence Brunelle (quality: 3.0)
Bottom Line: Nice design good quality on the outside, but the inside mechanical components do not match same quality
