Steve Spinella 10.14.2010 Rating: 6.2
Bottom Line: My first espresso pump, after 1000's of cups I'm leaving town and passing it on.
Andy Panda (quality: 10.0) 09.25.2010 Rating: 5.0
Bottom Line: Not for everyone - but for small spaces (office, cabin etc) it is great - can make good espresso if you learn its quirks.
Kevin Johnson (quality: 6.0) 01.12.2008 Rating: 3.2
Bottom Line: If you have no other options, this can make espresso at home. Though, I'd rather drink from a french press or a cheap coffee maker than drink the Briel's espresso.
Michael Hast 05.17.2007 Rating: 7.0
Bottom Line: I hold the ES-15 Lido in the same contempt that you would a compact sedan.  Yes, it does it's job.  Yes, it's reliable and efficient.  But, it will never be a Porsche.
Ryan Palmer (quality: 5.5) 03.11.2007 Rating: 4.4
Bottom Line: For those of you who really hate good coffee, here's you machine! Cheap too!
Larry Cater (quality: 5.5) 12.03.2005 Rating: 6.0
Bottom Line: Sometimes the best shot is the first one for a product, and R&D should leave well enough alone.  Pump machine with good bloodlines, but needs TLC to brew to its best.
Lane Wilkins (quality: 6.3) 10.07.2004 Rating: 4.8
Bottom Line: prevent buyers remorse, spend more money for quality espresso!
Teresa Vonfeldt-Gross (quality: 4.0) 04.12.2004 Rating: 9.0
Bottom Line: Lovely little entry-level machine.  Lasted me ten years+!
John Green (quality: 5.3) 02.24.2004 Rating: 6.6
Bottom Line: It makes good espresso. With lots of thick crema. It's cheap.
Skip Thomsen (quality: 6.6) 01.10.2004 Rating: 7.8
Bottom Line: For the money, there's nothing comparable.  If you can afford $200, you can do much better.
Kevin Carlson (quality: 6.0) 05.18.2003 Rating: 3.8
Bottom Line: OK if you like barely warm Espresso
Clif Swinford (quality: 5.8) 02.12.2003 Rating: 5.0
Bottom Line: Excellent for the money, but you get what you pay for.
Lisa Ellis (quality: 5.0) 02.11.2001 Rating: 6.8
Bottom Line: Great initially but needs to be replaced after 5- 6 years.  Be prepared for puddles.
Joel Stevens (quality: 6.0) 12.08.2000 Rating: 5.2
Bottom Line: By for occasional use only
Joe Holmes (quality: 5.0) 05.19.2000 Rating: 6.4
Bottom Line: Great crema, so-so froth, make this a good, inexpensive starter machine.
