Bottom Line: If you want the best don't settle for anything less. A truly well rounded machine in all aspects. Unfaultable.
Positive Product Points

Capacity to produce 70 cups of espresso per hour. Super sized 2 litre boiler. Industrial E61 group head for maximum thermal stability. Manometer for checking boiler pressure. Ability to be plumbed into mains water supply. Drip/waste tray can be plumbed to waste drain.

Negative Product Points

Absolutely none. Instruction booklet is a little on the light side. Relatively high purchase price approx. $2000 AUD

Detailed Commentary

The WEGA  Mininova EPU (semi-automatic) is a delight to use. Get yourself a Luigi Mazzer "Mini" grinder and you're on your way to producing better-than-cafe quality coffee. The Mininova is built like a tank, just a 37kg mass of brass/stainless steel. The 4 port frothing wand delivers an abundance of steam and the hot water outlet is quintessential for those hot chocolates and teas. This machine is serious stuff - definetly not for the first timer, but designed for the ultimate coffee buff. If you've got the money, don't even bother looking at anything else!
