This machine will make any kitchen look better. It makes an excellent espresso and quite perfect for lattes. There is enough steam to heat 60-80oz of milk maybe more? Costco is where I bought my Saeco and if I ever break it no problem I can just take it back and get a new one.
Negative Product Points
I though this had more metal than plastic for the housing I was wrong. The puck dumper or where the used grounds go is not flush with the rest of the machine. It looks a little weird sense the rest of it is so stream lined. It could use a larger water reservoir but easy to fill.
Detailed Commentary
The cost of the Saeco Royal is a little pricey but well worth it. It has stopped me from spending all of my money at Starbucks and putting other people’s kids thru collage.
For me the ease of use was mind blowing. In a matter of minutes I was well on my way to making great espresso and lattes. In the past with my Krupps 888 it took me forever to make my drinks, and never mind making drinks for friends. Now with my Saeco everybody gets an espresso or latte in a timely manner. The steam is on point with the turn of a knob, all you would need for many drinks.
Now let’s get down to cleaning this beauty, a damp cloth works well on the outside. You need to pull out the drip tray rinse with water. And at last empty the used coffee grounds pull out the bin dump it out and your done. And of course you don’t need to do all of this each day. Bottom line Very Easy.
Buying Experience
I bought mine at Costco online. It was at my house in 4 days and best of all free shipping. I have always had a good experience when I have bought something from Costco. Hears a big one for me no limit on the warranty thru Costco no matter what the manufacture says Costco will gladly give you your money back if you break it don’t like it or down the line you just want something else.
